1. Product Overview

The Induskey INK328 is a high-range, industrial-grade self-cleaning TSS (Total Suspended Solids) sensor designed for continuous, in-line monitoring of suspended solids in water and wastewater applications. Based on ISO 7027-compliant infrared double-scattered light technology, it delivers accurate, color-independent measurements without any reagents. Equipped with an integrated self-cleaning brush, it effectively alleviates probe fouling and greatly reduces daily maintenance workload. Meanwhile, the RS485 MODBUS interface enables seamless integration with industrial control systems, ensuring stable and automatic long-term monitoring in harsh industrial water environments.

Sensing Technology

The sensor adopts the ISO 7027 compliant infrared double-scattered light detection technology as its core sensing principle. An infrared light source emits a light beam into the measured fluid, and suspended particles in the water scatter the light at multiple angles. The built-in photodetector captures the scattered light intensity and converts it into electrical signals, which are then processed to output accurate TSS concentration values.
It is equipped with customized sapphire optical windows and professional optical filters, which can effectively resist ambient light interference and eliminate the impact of fluid color variations, ensuring stable and reliable measurement performance in complex water quality environments.

Self-Cleaning System

The INK328 is fitted with an integrated automatic self-cleaning brush system, which can periodically wipe the surface of the sapphire optical window. This system actively removes sediment, biofilm and microbial attachments on the optical surface, preventing probe fouling and light transmission attenuation. It effectively extends maintenance intervals, reduces equipment downtime and manual maintenance frequency, and guarantees consistent measurement accuracy even in high-turbidity and high-pollution working conditions.
