Description

1. Product Overview

The Induskey INK326 Self-cleaning TSS Sensor is a robust industrial-grade transmitter designed for continuous in-line measurement of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in water and wastewater applications. Utilizing infrared scattered light technology, it delivers reliable, repeatable, and stable measurements across diverse process conditions. Integrated with a self-cleaning brush mechanism, the sensor effectively mitigates biofouling and bubble interference, significantly reducing maintenance frequency and ensuring long-term operational accuracy. It features RS485 communication with MODBUS protocol for seamless integration into industrial control systems.

2. Sensing Technology & Self-Cleaning System

The INK326 operates on the infrared scattered light detection principle: an infrared light source emits a beam into the process fluid; particles scatter the light, and a high‑sensitivity photodetector captures the scattered light intensity, which is converted into an electrical signal proportional to TSS concentration.
The integrated self-cleaning brush periodically wipes the sapphire optical window to remove biofilm, sediment, and air bubbles, maintaining stable light transmission and sustained measurement accuracy. Advanced digital signal processing includes filtering, noise reduction, and temperature compensation. Calibrated data are transmitted reliably via RS485 MODBUS RTU for long-distance and industrial‑grade communication.
