2. Sensing Technology & Self-Cleaning System
The INK326 operates on the infrared scattered light detection principle: an infrared light source emits a beam into the process fluid; particles scatter the light, and a high‑sensitivity photodetector captures the scattered light intensity, which is converted into an electrical signal proportional to TSS concentration.
The integrated self-cleaning brush periodically wipes the sapphire optical window to remove biofilm, sediment, and air bubbles, maintaining stable light transmission and sustained measurement accuracy. Advanced digital signal processing includes filtering, noise reduction, and temperature compensation. Calibrated data are transmitted reliably via RS485 MODBUS RTU for long-distance and industrial‑grade communication.
